What did we learn during this week's episode of "Project Runway?" That Blayne prefers to tan every other day. That Jennifer's elimination was overdue. That Daniel is too hip to create an Olympic outfit. That Corto and her family left Liberia when she was a child. That Apolo Ohno knows his fashion. And that many of the designers think dresses, Little Bo Peep bonnets and sweaters are appropriate for the opening ceremonies of the Olympics.
Heavens, there were a lot of crappy clothes on the runway. I thought the challenge was a really great one, and was disappointed that so few of the designers rose to it. I also thought it was a funny night for the judges - for once I liked Michael Kors's shnarky comments.
I can't wait for Stella to be eliminated. Suede, Tan Man and Jarrell are all annoying, but Stella's like fingernails on a chalkboard for me.
Yes, great challenge especially when you watch the opening ceremonies and see all of the interesting outfits. Quite a fashion show, really. I'm wondering if next week's vulgar comment pertains to Stella--it seems inevitable that a bad fishnet-leather-thong combination will do her in.
It was a lot of fun to watch the Parade of Nations at the opening ceremonies last night, having just seen this PR episode! (And I liked to imagine what Michael Kors and Nina Garcia would have made of some of the more dowdy outfits.)
